Anyone have some new suggestions on swaps? I've been MIA for a bit due to some family and personal issues. The last one I tried to plan really flopped. Please post away!

a beach stuff! stuff that you can use on the beach (towel, sunscreen, sunglasses, hair things..) or stuff that reminds you of the beach (shells, etc).

a few more ideas!

-Recipe book swap. 4-5 recipes on cards, mail one each to 4-5 people, everyone gets a small cookbook

-Nail Polish Swap - $15-20 limit. I would really love to do this because I would love to see what colors someone would pick out for me!

Would like to see:

- Get Rid of It Swap (a classic.)
- Foodie Swap (pick out some of your favorite food/cooking/baking products and send to a partner - inspired by the Foodie Penpals Blog Project)
- Arts & Crafts Swap - either supplies or stuff you've made
- Book Swap (3-4 titles, maybe even do a theme and make it a recurring swap?)
- Secret Santa in July Swap


Also side note, I would be happy to help organize any swaps if we have more than one going, so feel free to reach out!

Okay, I'm going to put up a poll Tuesday and have a vote on which swap will be next!

^^ I'm actually going to be doing a baking/combo crafts swap in ACC shortly. It's been OVER two years since I did the last swap and it's definitely time for a new one! There will also be an upcoming crafting contest, so maybe hold off on that for the moment so there isn't too much going on?

I loved the handmade recipe book swap. It was time consuming but fun and it didn't cost a lot of money when it came to materials and postage.

^ YES! Joey + I discussed doing another one at some point...If that's something enough people are interested in, we can certainly get another one going! We will have to be a bit more strict on time limits this time around. ;]

I love perfumes/scents, so a fragrance swap (full or sample size)

of course a makeup grabbie swap, specifically high end or low end, new or used, etc

Pinterest swap. Everyone shares a link to their pinterest boards, and we select something off their board (a craft or wishlist item or just be creative) and make it for them and send it to them? Is this an allright idea? (My besties and I just recently established an occasional "pinterest day" which we set aside specifically to work on crafts or projects that we have pinned)

I'm excited for new swaps! I plan on participating if I can afford it and, of course, if I can really contribute a good package. My past favorites have been:

- Get Rid of It Swap
- Foodie/Kitchen Swap
- Office Supplies Swap (probably had a different/better name?)

My only request is that we pace the swaps a little, if possible. I'd love to participate in multiple swaps but I wouldn't be able to afford to if they all happen at once.

So are there plans for a swap in the works at all? I don't want to sound impatient but it's been a couple weeks since this conversation started, I was hoping to have seen something by now.

I thought we were holding off doing one in here since ones in the works for the baking/crafts area. But I could be wrong.

Mindy, go ahead with another swap if you want to! I just wanted to wait on anything crafts/baking while we get those started in ACC.
